I still haven't received my Pasolinis in Chicago. Anyone else who pre-ordered not received them?

Me neither. I have a couple other overdue orders from other overseas vendors as well.

Haven't received my Gospel either (haven't ordered Accatone from them) :(

Do they actually ship them and they always get lost in the mail or they just have issues and don't ship them at all? The same happened to Une femme marié last month and also with my Naruse set 2 years ago... :-s

I received my Pasolinis yesterday in France so it's all a bit haphazard. The Femme mariee send out was a genuine processing hiccough if ordered on the 16th or 17th Feb but otherwise everything has gone swimmingly

I ordered The gospel on the same transaction. That's why I'm wondering...

That is good to hear. A little scary though since my order on March 31st of Wizards and my copy of Lifeboat have both arrived.

Hmmm...I just got my Lifeboat as well, though I'm still waiting on the Pasolinis.

My order from DDDHouse, which I placed after the Pasolinis shipped, came in today. Still no Pasolinis. Maybe there is a problem at customs... Are these movies banned in the US or something?

Could it simply be that I x DVD doesn't excite customs in the way that 2 or 2+ would?

The U-certificate Vatican-praised The Gospel According to Matthew?

Mind you, given this recent rant by a Catholic bishop, maybe this is part of Obama's Hitler-like plan to abolish the Catholic Church? Though targeting Pasolini would still be a mite odd even in the vanishingly unlikely event that that were true.

Maybe they are passing by Quebec or Canada before going to the US and the governments burns them because Pasolini was a communist and even socialism is forbidden here right now...

I just received my Lifeboat steelbook and I'm quite surprised by the amount of glue for keeping the backpaper in place (7 points instead of the usual 4).

Just my 2 cents : I do think (that's what I do anyway) that the glue points should only place on the top of the back-cover. This way, you can (1) open the steelbook and (2) look under the back cover for the rear design.

Are the Mizoguchi BDs out anywhere? No reviews yet and most etailers are out of stock it seems.

Reviews for the Blu-rays went up on the Digital Fix this morning: Sansho Dayu/Gion Bayashi, Ugetsu Monogatari/Oyu-Sama.

I just got my copy of Sansho Dayu, still no Pasolinis. How long do people typically wait before they send an email? I think it has been 4 weeks by this point.

My Pasolinis finally showed up! (Though in all likelihood, it was the replacement shipment that I requested last week.)

Congrats! Seeing as you are much further west than I am, I fear mine are lost in the abyss (or some custom agent's dvd player). I just emailed this evening for a replacement. So, hopefully I will be seeing mine soon.
