Kino's recent MGM deal only had one title from the 2020s. So those would have to be from future deals (or come from other companies like Shout.)
I think this is great news as it leaves the door open for Shout, VS, Arrow etc. These labels are all more careful and dedicated anyways. Our beloved KLI replied earlier on Facebook to questions regarding the possibility of a UHD for Bottoms with a friendly “You can't be seriously asking us to release this on 4K?”

He seems to be convinced that their 4Ks are of such technical excellence that every one should be treated like a Godsend.

Now that’s just odd because, regardless of if you like it, not only is it really popular and easily worth putting it out on 4K more than other Kino titles in a financial sense, but it’s already streaming in 4K so I’m sure it would look pretty nice on UHD without any problems of streaming compression at least to my knowledge.

KLSC announced they are releasing April Fool’s Day (1986) on UHD. Interesting development as the Scream Factory Blu-ray is still in print.

If I had a nickel for every time I bought The Laughing Heirs during the Kino sale, I would have three nickels. I really should make a check list for Kino titles so this doesn't happen again.

Just FYI: if you're signed in, their shop warns you've already purchased a title from them, on both the individual release page (beneath the Add to/Remove from Wishlist button) and beneath the title in your cart.

Yes, it's an incredibly helpful feature - I almost re-bought two titles this sale before noticing the warning in my cart

I really just need to use an app that will scan the barcodes of all my films and help me compile them into a spreadsheet.

I might be willing to trade for it, but I don't know what I'd want. Maybe some similarly priced Kino discs or WA titles I want but don't have yet.

FWIW I find the feature bluray.com has to be the only useful thing on that website, I'd be lost without it.

Ha, I stupidly bought the wrong set with No Man of Her Own already released.. do KL often repackage films into other(, better) sets?

Not with any of the Noir Box set titles as far as I know, the best case scenario is maybe Indicator can score it and release it but they don’t have a deal with Paramount at the moment so the best bet is probably this.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely just gonna eat some cost here, because Beware My Lovely is a gem. I'm just trying to gauge whether or not this is a pattern to pay attention to going forward - sounds like it isn't

You could just buy the Imprint single disc release of Beware, My Lovely and get Jennifer as a bonus (assuming you already have Dark City from Olive)

I don't have the Olive, so unless Jennifer is well-worth owning(?), I'll probably just eat the shipping cost to return the Lombard set, no biggie

Wait, are you confusing the Lombard No Man of Her Own with the Stanwyck No Man of Her Own (which is the one in the Noir set)?

Yes I did - not even registering the name on the box. My poor sleep hygiene has never led to incorrect purchases before, but conflating those two stars probably counts as 'unmanageable' symptoms now!

Man, that's the weaker box of Carole Lombard movies too-- buuuut I like the title you mistakenly purchased more than the one you meant to buy!

They're releasing the Jeff Bridges/Tommy Lee Jones mad bomber movie, not the Two Coreys/Nicole Eggert movie that I assume you are referencing.

I don’t know what the deal is with 8 Million Ways to Die. I thought it was CBS/Paramount now, but maybe it’s gone back to producer Mark Damon

Thanks for the notification above. I just panic-bought 23 Paces to Baker Street, Daisy Kenyon, Deadline USA, Boomerang, Fixed Bayonets!, Western Union and Yellow Sky. I figure they’re all solid Fox titles, and who knows when we’ll see them again?
