Cheers, I picked it up. I remember mildly liking the film, so time for a revisit.

I like it a lot. At age 58, Binoche can continue to do no wrong; her roles compelling, body- and soul-bearing, even in somewhat lighter-hearted fare such as this.

Collaborating with director Claire Denis--their follow-up (and Denis' English-language debut) High Life is a brooding sci-fi number where Juliette actually gets to play sinister. If you haven't seen it yet, do so.

Their latest together is the romantic drama Both Sides of the Blade, (released in the U.S. as Fire) opens in limited release next month. I may or may not get to it in the theater; regardless it'll be a blind buy for me on bluray when it comes out.
